'Anandam' the banner's earlier film doing well at the box office is also a story about sibling bonding. How different this film is going to be, one has to wait and see!

With a supporting cast of Manjula, Manivannan, Goundamani, Pyramid Natarajan, Charlie, Akash, Thyagu, Pahalwan Ranganathan, Vasu Vikram, Riaz Khan and Manobala, the film has story by Erode Sounder, cinematography by S.Shanthamurthy, editing by K.Thanikachalam, sets designed by G.K., and music by Sabesh-Murali - music director Deva’s brothers. This is one of the two films the duo has signed as independent music directors.

The story centers round the deep bonding between brothers Selvaraj, Thangaraj and Chinnaraj. Selvaraj, the eldest, has the responsibility of looking after his siblings. Chinnaraj, the youngest, studies in a college in the city. When a college-mate harasses him and with his rowdy friends beats him up, when resisted, Chinnaraj tells his brother about it. Selvaraj goes to the college and confronts his brother's tormentors. Their cheeky, disrespectful attitude irritates Selvaraj and he gives the gang the beating of their lives. While Sharat Kumar played Selvaraj, Chinnaraj was played by Manoj. Riaz Khan, an actor from the small screen who is making his presence felt on the big screen, with quite a few films in the kitty, played the leader of the rowdy gang.

Scenes were shot on the lead pair and some character artistes. Selvaraj's neighbours take it on themselves to find a suitable bride for Selvaraj. They zero in on Lakshmi as the ideal girl for him and take Selvaraj with them to see her. Lakshmi's family is overjoyed that their daughter would be going into a joint family. Seeing Selvaraj at her house, Lakshmi too is thrilled. A song follows this scene, where Lakshmi dreams about Selvaraj. Sharat Kumar, Abhirami and some character artistes took part in the scene with Ravikumar guiding them. For the song, six lavish sets were erected, and it took about five days to shoot the song.

Incidentally, it was while shooting for the film at Mysore that the unit faced problems from some unruly elements and had to return to Chennai.
