Fast Facts
  • 27h film in the year 2002.
  • After the Kapoor brothers, this is the only time in the Indian film history that three brothers are acting in a film together.
  • This is the first time that Raju Sundaram plays a complete character after his role as the younger brother of Aishwarya Rai in 'Jeans'.
  • The film has been made in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada.
Three physically handicapped friends (Prabhudeva, Raju Sundaram, Nagendra Prasad) fall madly in love with Jyothika in their very first encounter with her and continue with their feelings for her by hiding their handicaps.

When finally the secret gets revealed Jyothika uses their natural talents and makes lots of money for herself and for them in that process. Who is the luck person to tie knot with Jyothika is the climax of the movie.

There are couple of stunning good comedy scenes in this film. That's just what the film is all about. The movie looks extremely mediocre thanks to all the other scenes that seem to have been shot playfully, without a bit of seriousness.

Prabhudeva says that he doesn't now who killed her elder brother. Jyothika then goes ahead and blames the blind Prabhudeva for the murder to take revenge on him. The scene is so logic-less that even the Almighty wouldn't bear it. This one scene is more than enough to figure out how 'real' the rest of the film looks like.

Jyothika cruises along the whole film with only one standard expression on her face. In order to minimize the lack of glamour in the film, there are ample mug shots of her lips.

The opening shots of the three brothers are nothing spectacular. Prabhudeva's scenes specifically reek of 'drama'-ness.

Prabhudeva, Raju Sundaram, Nagendra Prasad have made some of the scenes humorous with their handicaps. Its enjoyable to see Raju Sundaram unwittingly babble about their physical handicaps. Since Prabhudeva is the senior when it comes to acting, he gets to do more shots here. And, finally, Jyothika gets married to him.

No one bothered to inform that the film's story takes place in Bangalore. So, each time one sees Kannada letters, one wonders if this is a dubbed film!

Karunaas is another enjoyable character. One again fails to understand what the fuss is all about when he enters the prabhu Deva's house.

There is a song along the lines of 'Yappa yappa Iyappa'. Had it not been the credits, one would never know that the music score is by 'Thaen Isai Thendral' Deva. Nowhere else is his style visible.

Raju Sundaram is seen with a still photo camera on his shoulder all the time. And, suddenly he is seen operating a moviecam without any basic training and shoots ad films. How could that be? And, the story of these three progressing with the help of Jyothika beats Vikraman's formula by miles!
1-2-3 is the best example for an average film.
