Right from "Murai Maappillai" up to the latest "Azhagana Naatkal", Sunder.C's first and foremost goal seems to be to make viewers laugh. Anybody expecting a story, screenplay, logic etc is going to be extremely disappointed. "Look someplace else" is the answer for such a person. Same story here too.

With a child in her arms, Rambha drops in at Karthik's residence, claiming that he is the father of the child. She refuses to budge from there.

As a result, the wedding that was to take place between Karthik and Mumtaj gets cancelled. Lot of confusions arises in the family. How Karthik goes about solving all these problems and clears the mystery forms the rest of the story.

Sunder.C has been using this "Stranger enters the family and causes confusion" for quiet some time now resulting in some boredom.

Just when the hero gets married, the heroine appearing all of a sudden out of nowhere with a child in her arms declaring him to be the father of the child is a beaten, old, worn out, fossiled formula as far as Tamil cinema is concerned. The Actors' Association should also ban this particular formula!

A screenplay that fumbles the way Karthik's dialogue does, tiresome scenes, songs that don't get with the story in spite of all these if we're still seated and watching the movie, its for Koundamani.

Even though he suspects his wife throughout the movie, it doesn't tire the viewer.

Dialogues like "Dey, I'm the opening Batsman" with all their double interpretations don't restrict us from laughing at them or even enjoying them.

The vitality that shone in Karthik's and Rambha's faces in the previous movie, more than what was required for their roles, is missing very much here. Rambha's enormous legs have shrunk drastically.

It is a beautiful love play when Karthik sends his "I love you" message through the children.

Mumtaj appears for a few scenes, sings and dances for two tuneless songs with Karthik and then disappears. She now faces the danger of ending up like Abbas did specialist in appearing for a scene or two. She better watch out.

The real father of the child, Rajeev, who is Karthik's elder brother, disappears from the story as soon as Rambha appears.

The looti between Vinu Chakravarthy who is very liberal with his usage of the word "Yezavu" and Senthil is an added bonus.

Cinematography and editing have filled up the gaps in the screenplay and have added life wherever it was lacking.

Throughout the movie, Koundamani makes up forget everything and simply laugh. By the time the movie reaches the climax, Sunder.C, again, with his trademark style, brings confusions to the peak with similar complains. Makes us all very happy.

Can have a great laugh. Koundamani and the climax guarantee that.
